Steven Zelig graduated from Loyola University School of Law and was in the top ten percent of his class. Mr. Zelig worked for insurance companies for close to 7 years, and went into private practice in 1984. Mr. Zelig’s areas of specialty are sexual abuse claims, personal injury, property damage, insurance bad faith, business litigation, construction defect, civil rights, medical malpractices, legal malpractice, insurance agent malpractice, wrongful discharge and discrimination; eminent domain and inverse condemnation. Over the years, Mr. Zelig has generated a large and impressive number of verdicts and settlements.

Mr. Zelig has also handled many appeals including published and non-published opinions in a number of significant cases, including 21st Century Insurance Company v. Superior Court (Schwartz) Second District Court of Appeal Case Number B179503; Berger v. California Insurance Guarantee Association Second District Court of Appeal Case Number B174412 ; Shekhter v.
